The Holy Bible

Our aim is to present our selves to you
as a people who live in faith. We will
not at anytime give pre-eminence to
man’s science or try to prove the Bible
through man’s own knowledge. We will
simply testify to the witness of God’s
word in our lives and the testimony of
the Holy Ghost.

Romans 1:17 for therein is the
righteousness of God revealed from
faith to faith: as it is written, the
just shall live by faith.

Why do we believe the Holy Bible is Gods
word and thus superior to all other
sources?

It’s not the scientific accuracy of the
Bible that testifies to it being God’s
word (despite it undeniable accuracy),
but the very precious promises that
are fulfilled every day in those who
through faith have come to trust in
His word. For example why do Christians
believe in creation? It’s not because
we pride our selves on being contentious,
but rather faithful to Him who delivers.
You can apply this in every topic debated
in the Bible.

Let me share my testimony of God’s word…

I was brought up by parents who used
everything the system offered to produce
a rounded and happy person. Of course it
failed (and it does in everybody). I was
told to believe in my self, unfortunately
this would hit a ceiling, again as it
does for all people. Despite my
knowledge, experiences and what I thought
was true happiness in my friends and
family, I was flawed. But I could not see
that and indeed experience perfect love
and happiness until I met Christ. The
Scriptures informed me of the wonderful
message of God’s love through His Son the
Lord Jesus Christ. I learned of God’s
amazing grace in that He gave His Only
Begotten Son to suffer and die on the Cross
for my sin and that through true repentance
and faith I could be ‘born again’.
This message PROMISED
me truth and peace with God that
would pass all understanding…AND IT
HAS. Everything the Lord Jesus taught
and promised has and is coming to pass.

So what happened according to science
'millions' of years ago
just tickle’s my ears it does not change
and perfect me now as does the Gospel.

So why are we so forward coming about
things like creation?

Because He who made the latter promises
and delivers (where all else fails) can and
must be believed in all things. I believe
in a 6 literal day creation because the
Bible teaches it and the same Bible teaches
me about the Christ Who has saved me NOW.
If I can trust Him at His word where my
eternity is at stake then I can trust Him at
His word in all these other matters to.
